Issy wanted to share her recent experience on the Health Works Cornwall project with Nev.

‘I am very thankful towards CSW providing me with the resources to help me re-access education. During my childhood I experienced many adverse experiences which created barriers to my education, I left school and went straight into full time work without acquiring the basic GCSE’s that I needed to reach my end goals, I felt ashamed and saddened. A decade later and with the help of CSW, I am now able to access the information and the resources to enable me to re sit my exams.

CSW has helped me to understand which route is best to take regarding work and education whilst being a single parent to two young children, they also create me tailored made action plans to help me achieve goals one step at a time, without feeling overwhelmed in the process. I now feel confident that I’ll be able to reach my end goal of studying veterinary nursing and am very thankful that I have been able to have the opportunity to do so.’
