Tracey Burley is the managing director of Cognus Limited and a member of the company’s board of directors. She joined Cognus in 2017, bringing more than 15 years of public service leadership, expertise in working with children and young people and management experience of bridging the gap between the private and public sector, to her role within the company.
Tracey manages the corporate direction and strategy at Cognus, engaging with the board of directors and shareholders to focus efforts on making a difference to the lives of the children that we work with. She is responsible for making sure that the company remains focused on our vision and that the whole team live and breathe the company values, creating the balance between social hearts and commercial minds.
Tracey graduated from Henley Business School in 2018 earning her MBA and achieving a distinction whilst changing jobs and relocating from Cornwall to London, proving anything is possible with determination and hard work.
Previously Tracey was an executive director at CSW Group and a non-executive director and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Career Development Institute. Tracey is committed to improving social mobility and opportunities for children and young people and has worked to support this since 2002. Tracey continues this work both regionally and nationally through her roles as a non-executive director of Careers England and CSW Group.
