Shannon joined the COMPASS project with Motiv-8 SW.  She was shy and reserved; she had been out of work for over a year and had some knock backs at interview so lacked confidence.  She attended group sessions ‘Healthy Minds’ which helped her to manage her anxiety and boost her confidence along with 1:1 sessions where she set goals and looked at opportunities.  They supported her with applying for her provisional driving licence and driving theory, another step in her journey.

Her confidence grew and she started applying for jobs; not only has she got a job as a Kitchen Porter, but she has started cooking and a promotion is on the cards.
