Carefree Cornwall gave Claire the holistic support she needed as a young person leaving foster care, who has moved to Cornwall to be near extended family.  That support through the COMPASS project included exploring possible career paths, looking for work, applying for jobs, applying for college courses and help accessing the support she needs and is entitled to.

Claire is living in temporary accommodation but her determination to follow her dream of working in a children’s nursery is on track.  She starts a 34-week course this month (Level 2 Diploma – Early Years Practitioner) this will also include a nursery placement 1 day per week.
