Following the Government’s decision yesterday to close all schools and colleges from 20th March, CSW Group is sorry to announce that the @Weston Big Bang Fair, that was due to be held on April 24th & 25th and the Big Bang Fair South West in Exeter on June 17th & 18th have both been cancelled.
We have been actively monitoring and following advice about the novel coronavirus Covid-19 over the past weeks. The unique nature of The Big Bang Fair – an indoor, hands-on interactive event for hundreds of young people from the local area- means that we feel this is the most appropriate decision to take at this time. We wanted to announce this decision as soon as we could to give as much notice as possible
The Big Bang Fair is only possible thanks to the support of sponsors, exhibitors, activity providers, teachers and volunteers. We hugely appreciate this continued support for our mission to inspire more young people to consider a career in STEM.
We are very disappointed not to be in a position to go ahead as planned. We know that cancellation of the event will be disappointing for the visitors who had booked to attend as well as the exhibitors and we hope to see them all in 2021.
