WorldSkills UK’s Spotlight Talks: Inspiring Careers Excellence is back by popular demand, once again delivering free virtual advice and guidance to support young people to confidently take the next step on their career ladder.

Broadcast live on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 October, the Spotlight Talks will focus on the exciting digital skills and careers that can be built from technical education and apprenticeships. This follows research from WorldSkills UK which shows that demand from employers for digital skills will continue to grow.

Aimed at secondary school students, school leavers and those in further education, the content can be easily viewed on any smart device.
The free online careers event, hosted in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT will feature inspiring talks from leading employers including Rolls-Royce, PwC, Mace, AECOM, Everton in the Community and many more.

This is the third Spotlight Talks online event hosted by WorldSkills UK. The previous Spotlight Talks have attracted 166,000 registrants, with 74% of students saying they were inspired after watching and 85% of educators saying they felt better able to advise their students after attending.
