Meet our Senior Leadership Team

Chris Saxby

Chris Saxby - Managing Director

Unlike the long-standing members of CSW’s leadership team, I am relatively new to this sector but not without experience in service provision.  I began as an engineer officer in the Royal Navy, with time at sea and ashore providing multiple learning opportunities and secondments alongside civil service colleagues.  Through senior appointments I developed skills in my core professional expertise, government governance, and people management.  I later worked for Babcock, leading teams in the UK and abroad in NZ, which has strengthened my strategic and commercial experience.

As Managing Director at CSW, I am able to combine my previous experience with long-held personal values founded on integrity, dedication, and compassion to benefit this organisation, with its focus that we are all passionate about – the support of vulnerable young people in the region in which we live.

In my spare time, I focus my time on my family and enjoying the beautiful part of the country we live in.

Fiona Reed

Fiona Reed - Operations Manager

I have been part of the careers information, advice and guidance sector for over 25 years undertaking a wide variety of roles in both education and community settings.  I have enjoyed working as a careers adviser, supporting young people in the southwest, as well managing teams and then developing our staff and supporting them to reach their potential in a training role. Currently I lead a large group of dedicated people that go above and beyond every day to support the people they work with. There is always something new to think about, challenges to overcome, and experiences to inspire me! Beyond work, I love to spend time, when I can, with my family, that are scattered across the globe, and enjoy a bit of sightseeing enroute!

Ian Exworthy

Ian Exworthy - Operations Manager

I am passionate about helping local people, communities and organisations to fulfil their potential. I have worked most of my career in the South West skills sector, developing and implementing services for those that need support the most.. I have predominately worked in the private sector but am delighted to be working for a social enterprise that has so much talent and potential. In my spare time I like music, sport and mountain biking on Dartmoor.

Kate Tricker

Kate Tricker - Finance and Payroll Manager

I am the Finance and Payroll Manager, overseeing the finance function at CSW Group Ltd.  I started my career as an apprentice at a local newspaper office, and then worked in various accounting and finance roles; beginning in accounts admin, and progressing into financial management and budgeting roles, having gained experience in both industry and practice.

I have been with CSW Group since 2017, using my expertise to bring the payroll function in house, and streamlined the accounting processes. I provide finance support to the senior team, prepare annual budgets and forecasts and working closely with external auditors.

I live in South-East Cornwall with my family where I enjoys the constant chaos and adventure that comes with having 2 boys and a dog. During my spare time, I like to keep fit and have taken part in half and full marathons, but am always looking for the next challenge to push myself both physically and mentally.

Nik Dunn

Nik Dunn - Information, Systems, Relationship Manager

I am the Information Systems Relationship Manager, looking after the Company’s data, and in turn that of our clients. However, I started my career with CSW as an adviser working with young people in the Plymouth area back in the 1990s. I am passionate about supporting young people to make informed choices about their future, which is not always a straight forward task. I progressed into Team Leader and Managerial roles, and then have expanded my skills and interests into Information Management, and ICT. I work with a great team of innovative individuals both internally and externally.

I live near Plymouth with my family and spend many hours at the side of cricket pitches and rugby grounds, and have developed a passion for these and many other sports. So when not scoring at cricket matches, or taxiing my children to their sporting fixtures, I try and focus on walking and exploring the local area.
