Level 2 CMI Team Leader Award – Being a Team Leader (Unit 2008)
What will I learn?
The Award in Team Leading is an introduction to those that are thinking about or have recently become a team leader or supervisor. The course will look at organisational structure and responsibilities, culture and team motivation, leadership styles, leadership models and theories and how they can be adapted to different situations.
We will be discussing real life examples and linking this to your own leadership style, and the impact it can have on a team.
Course dates
Start date: Tuesday 3rd May, 10:30am to 12:30pm (Outcome 1)
2nd session: Tuesday 10th May, 10:30am to 12:30pm (Outcome 2)
3rd session: Tuesday 17th May, 10:30am to 12:30pm (Outcome 3)
End date: Tuesday 24th May, 10.30am to 13.30pm (Assignment workshop/ Submission)
Delivery
The course is delivered by South Devon College over 4 weeks, with 4 x taught sessions online via MS Teams; you will be assessed through a written assignment.
