CSW advisers work with young people who have special education needs and disabilities, as well as their parents and carers, across Devon, supporting them to move forward. These advisers work with students in year 11 and above offering impartial guidance and support on their options in terms of education, employment and training. Advisers attend Education Health and Care Plan meetings and liaise with schools, colleges and training providers to help support transitions.

If you are a young person in year 11, with an EHC Plan (Education and Health Care Plan), CSW Group provides advice and guidance on your options after year 11. They will also help you identify the support you will need as you move on to your next educational course, traineeship, or apprenticeship.

They can also help you If you have an EHC Plan but are in learning beyond year 11 and want to progress on to a new learning or training programme. CSW can also offer you support and advice.

Support is also available if you’re an unemployed young person with an EHC Plan.
