Businesses are key in inspiring the workforce of tomorrow, but how can you, as a business, help? At CSW we can support you to find the right activity for your business and your employees. There are several ways you can get involved, with a few examples below. If you have an idea or would just like to chat through the options please call us on 07810656033 or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many young people will head out on work experience in years 10 (aged 15) and Year 12 (aged 17) but in order for the placement to be meaningful we need employers that are keen to engage and offer them interesting placements. Young people will ask for a variety of placements and we have a large database of employers but always need more across the wider South West area. We will carry out duty of care checks with all employers and provide advice on the type of activity you can expect or ask from the young person. STEM is of particular focus in business now, with an emphasis on getting young people involved in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. If you have employees working in this field we would love to have them on board as STEM Ambassadors – working with schools, clubs, home school groups and community groups in a voluntary capacity to run experiments, activity days and curriculum enrichment. We also get our Ambassadors involved in judging competitions and our bigger events such as the Big Bang fair. To find out more about STEM Ambassadors click the link below.
We run a variety of small and large scale events aimed at inspiring the workforce of the future so if you would like to get involved but cannot accommodate staff time, you can sponsor one of our events. We offer packages tailored to the business – small and large – with press coverage, social media exposure and of course the chance to engage with young people and schools & colleges. For more information on our events contact email@example.com or call Gina on 07584 338 798.
