Work Experience Liaison Officer - Dorset

We are recruiting for zero hour NEBOSH/IOSH Qualified Workplace Experience Liaison Officers (WELOs)

CSW Group works in partnership with schools, colleges and businesses to support young people to access opportunities to create the workforce of tomorrow. An important part of this work is facilitating successful experiences of the workplace for school and college students on placements at employers across the South West.

The role of a WELO is to carry out health and safety checks with employers and to help them provide a workplace experience that is appropriate, safe and productive for the young person concerned. WELOs discuss and assess the employer’s working environment and attitudes to health and safety to ensure a successful placement.

WELOs also act as ambassadors of our business and identify opportunities for employers to engage with our range or programmes and services.

The WELO role is seasonal and hours will fluctuate according to demand and would therefore benefit someone looking to supplement their income doing something that benefits young people. The busiest period is generally February to July.

Applicants must hold a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification or a willingness to undertake.

Candidates should be customer focused, have excellent ICT and communication skills and the ability to manage their own workload and deadlines. Access to a car is essential to carry out this role. An understanding of workplace experience programmes would be desirable but not essential as full training is given.

£11.12 per hour, plus reasonable travel expenses.

Please email your CV and a covering letter to: HR@cswgroup.co.uk
