Nuffield Research Placements Administrator
Are you a team player with excellent organisational skills?
We’re seeking applications from individuals who are interested in working with us to deliver excellent and exemplary STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) enrichment to young people across our region.
You will predominantly be responsible for supporting the STEM Coordinator to provide administration of the Nuffield Research Placements (NRP) programme across the Southwest region. Supported by the team you will update and process the participant data on the NRP portal, handle programme enquiries, maintain accurate records, process bursary payments and provide general programme administrative support.
You will also be liaising with teachers, students and employers to ensure the smooth administration of the placement applications, matching process and subsequent summer placements.
At key points of the year you may also provide administrative support of other STEM related contracts including the STEM Ambassador programme and the STEM Enrichment programme, both of which work with students, schools and partners across the region.
CSW Group are the largest single provider of information, advice and guidance services across the Southwest region and operate a range of contracts supporting young people to make successful transitions at key points of their lives. We deliver a range of STEM related contracts across the Southwest region on behalf of STEM Learning, focused on inspiring and educating young people aged 5 -19 about STEM careers.

Essential Criteria:
• NVQ2 or equivalent qualification level
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of people
• Experience of working as part of a busy team and demonstrative ability of managing your own workload
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience in inputting to, and the maintenance of databases
• Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
• Excellent digital and ICT skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
• Exceptional standards of honesty, integrity and confidentiality
Desirable Criteria:
• NVQ 3 or equivalent level qualification relating to Administration
• Experience of the administration of secure and confidential personal data
