Due to successfully securing funding we have a range of opportunities across a number of people development projects funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) primarily in the Devon and Cornwall area. We are expanding and we are looking for new talent to join our dynamic team. Our head office is in Plymouth but we operate flexible working arrangements.
Skills Adviser, SMART Skills – Devon
Can you help local businesses assess their future skills needs? Would you like to work within a small team who use their creative skills and local knowledge of the employment and training landscape to help businesses address their future training needs?
CSW are paying £28,080 per annum to recruit a Skills Adviser on a full-time basis initially fixed term until March 23 (additional funding is being sought). This position will have access to flexible and hybrid working and would be suitable for someone living in Devon and prepared to attend the occasional meeting at CSW’s Head Office in Plymouth. If you have the communication skills to assess business training needs, like to attend business networking events and interested in supporting Devon businesses to grow we would like to hear from you.

Careers Employment Adviser, Health Works Cornwall

Do you want to help people to access employment opportunities?
£28,264 p.a. (£29,653 if L6 IAG qualified) full time fixed until Dec 2023. Working on this contract, you will work closely with education and training providers as well as employers and other partner agencies. Advisers will be expected to manage and support a caseload of adults to positively progress towards employment and achievement of key targets. The work is varied, and you will work in a range of venues including multi-agency hubs if required. Roles may include the delivery of workshops.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to effectively support participant’s needs and to meet the needs of the ESF programme. Ideally you will understand project work as well as having significant experience of working with unemployed adults.

Project Officer (Maternity Cover) Health Works Cornwall / Skills for Young People – Devon
Do you have experience of managing financial submissions of publicly funded projects or contracts? Do you enjoy working in a team and supporting others? Do you have good organisational skills and strong attention to detail?
£26,910 p.a. full time fixed term maternity cover. We are looking for a flexible and experienced individual to co-ordinate all financial and participant related submissions to the ESF funding bodies for both projects. ensuring they are delivered on time and in full compliance with ESF eligibility and evidencing rules. You will be working closely with our advisers and partner organisations. You will be responsible for the monthly submissions process from team members and the partners, providing all necessary support and guidance.

Do you have good organisational skills and strong attention to detail? Do you have experience of data input and financial transactions? Do you enjoy working in a team and supporting others?
£21,528 p.a. two full-time fixed term positions (to Mar 23 and Dec 23). Job shares considered. Remote working with need for some time to be spent in our Plymouth office.
