Key Worker #Focus5

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and passionate Key Worker to join our team to support the company in delivering an exciting project called #Focus5 which is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

The project aims to support and engage unemployed or economically inactive young people aged 15-18 years who would benefit from additional support to enable them to move towards education, employment or training. #Focus5 provides unique, flexible one-to-one support that is built around the individual.

Career Development Consultant

Can you help young people make the best start to their career?

As we continue to grow and secure new business, we are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in working for us as Career Development Consultants.

You will be required to provide information, advice and guidance or support services to help young people progress in learning and work; work with them to overcome barriers and achieve sustained outcomes; increase employability by developing the practical skills necessary to make applications and be successful in job/learning interviews; raise career and learning aspirations in those you work with; manage a caseload of young people with specific characteristics and liaise with partner agencies to ensure young people are able to access the service they require.

Project Officer #Focus5

Do you have experience of managing financial submissions of publicly funded projects or contracts? Do you enjoy working in a team and supporting others? Do you have good organisational skills and strong attention to detail?

We are looking for a flexible and experienced individual to co-ordinate all financial and related submissions to the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) Funding Officer, ensuring they are delivered on time and in full compliance with the Building Better Opportunities eligibility and evidencing rules. You will be working closely with the #Focus5 Project Delivery Team and Partners. You will be responsible for the monthly submissions process from team members and the Partners, providing all necessary support and guidance.

INTERNAL: Skills Adviser

Can you help local businesses to assess their skills needs that will be delivered through a partnership of Skills Providers?

You would be working on the SMART Specialisation European Social Fund project which covers the county of Devon and is led by Plymouth City Council. This flagship project brings together a partnership of key local skills providers to support local businesses with skills development and also upskill unemployed people to enable to take up employment opportunities.
