Services to Education Manager

Location: Home based with travel across the region.
Full Time: 37 hours per week
Salary: £34,571

We are looking for a high-energy, motivated professional to lead our specialist work with schools and colleges across the southwest peninsula

You will build positive relationships with school and college professionals to understand their needs in the career guidance curriculum (Gatsby Benchmarks, work experience, personal guidance, Quality in Careers Standard and other careers-related learning) and provide them with effective solutions that will be delivered through your team or other CSW Group teams.

You will be responsible for supporting and performance monitoring a team and liaising with other CSW Group managers to ensure agreed activities are delivered to standard and within budget constraints.

You will provide information and support to our senior management team that enables them to plan the efficient use of resources.

Essential:
• Significant experience of working in the education or career guidance sector
• Experience of developing relationships with organisations and professionals to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Experience of managing people to ensure they achieve their best level of performance
• Be professional and take a customer-centric approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Evidence of working with KPI’s, deadlines and targets.

Desirable but not essential:
• Understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks and the Quality in Careers Standard
• Understanding of issues faced by schools/colleges, young people and employers undertaking work experience
• Understanding of importance of safeguarding young people.
