CSW Group are delighted to have been awarded growth on the Skills for Young People contracts covering Devon, Somerset and Dorset, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).

The funding is available until March 2023, supporting 1,860 young people.

There will be a key focus on the Local Enterprise Partnerships priority sectors, however this is not an exclusive list and flexibility is at the heart of the project.

  • Tourism & Leisure
  • Construction
  • Care-tech (Care and Med-tech)
  • Creative & Digital Industries
  • Energy
  • Financial Services & Insurance
  • Nuclear
  • Rural productivity (including Agri-tech)
  • Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing (including Aerospace and Marine)

There will be focus on STEM, developing work experience and pre-employment opportunities.

The project is delivered through a skilled subcontractor network supporting young people from priority groups to move closer to employment or further learning in line with LEP priorities.

15-24  year olds who are NEET or at risk of being NEET can access this service locally and select from a wide range of training to build confidence, resilience and learn how to overcome personal barriers.
