CSW Group are the largest single provider of information, advice and guidance services across the South West region and operate a range of contracts supporting young people to make successful transitions at key points of their lives. We deliver the STEM Ambassador programme across Devon and Cornwall on behalf of STEM Learning, recruiting volunteers from a wide range of STEM disciplines to inspire young people aged 5 -19 about STEM careers.
To enable us to engage with schools and businesses across the two counties, we are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in working with us in Cornwall to grow our Ambassador cohort.
You will be responsible for providing co-ordination, administration and support duties for the STEM Learning STEM Ambassador Hub contract. Supported by the STEM Manager you will work towards the Hub delivery plan, to generate interest of the STEM Ambassador offer from schools, colleges and non-school groups by regular communication with primary and secondary schools, Multi Academy Trusts and community focused organisations. Support teachers, group leaders and individuals to use the STEM website effectively. Check Ambassador ID and process enhanced DBS checks.
