Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 (Community Engagement Adviser) depending on qualifications and experience
£23,500 – £26,500 (Senior Community Engagement Adviser) depending on qualifications and experience
This is a new and exciting community-based role with the opportunity to play a key part in supporting unemployed young people, aged 16-19, to progress into education, employment or training (EET) opportunities through a multi-agency approach.
We are looking for professionals to proactively identify and engage with young people who are currently not in education, employment or training (NEET), providing targeted advice and guidance within community settings to promote outcomes into EET. With significant experience of working with young people you will work jointly with other agencies to deliver multi-agency support to vulnerable young people through a range of intervention types.
You will deliver services to young people through face-to-face, telephone and online channels both individually and through group sessions. The ability to create and deliver bespoke workshops for delivery within community settings will also be a key requirement of the role as well as brokering support from other agencies. Candidates should hold or be prepared to work towards the NVQ L4 Advice and Guidance or equivalent.
We also have vacancies for Senior Community Engagement Advisers
As a Senior Community Engagement Adviser, you will lead a team of Community Engagement Advisers as well as having a direct delivery role (see above). Line management experience is preferred for this role.
