Using digital and face-to-face delivery, the partnership will offer the following activities, however this is not an exhaustive list and will evolve over the life of the contract to reflect the needs of young people, the needs of the economy and the further impact of Covid-19 on young people’s circumstances and needs in relation to accessing and sustaining EET opportunities.

The Partnership has developed offers that include:

  • Information, Advice & guidance, including by Level 6 qualified staff
  • ICT and technology skills, using them in a new digital world
  • Basic skills – functional Maths & English (result indicator R3)
  • Money matters and debt management
  • Customer service skills
  • Driving Theory test & support
  • Motivational & confidence building sessions
  • Interview techniques and motivational interviewing
  • Mock Interviews
  • Building resilience within the changing economy
  • Overcoming challenges through mentoring, 1-1 support and group work
  • Action Planning
  • Support to make informed decisions
  • Job search sessions (supporting R5)
  • Meet the employer
  • Employer & industry awareness visits
  • Work Experience and Work Tasters
  • Rights and Responsibilities in the workplace including reasonable adjustments and Access to Work information
  • Covid-19 confident course
  • Access to entrepreneur led self-employment workshops with enterprise skill building opportunities

We also have City & Guilds Courses (supporting R5) including:

  • Level 2 Health & Social Care
  • Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction with CSCS Card
  • Level 2 Food Safety in Catering
  • Level 2 Employability Skills Award
  • Entry to Level 2 Functional Skills, Maths & English Certificate
  • Qualifications based on interests;
    LASER Qualifications, Entry Level 3 or 1: Garden Horticulture & maintenance, planting in a container, using and maintaining garden tools, using kitchen equipment, food hygiene and safety, preparing and cooking fruit and vegetables.
