CSW Group were incredibly proud to receive a thank you from Colonel Edward Bolitho OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, for the contribution that CSW have made to Cornwall during the Covid-19 pandemic and for the work that our team continue to do.
Our commissioner, nominated us as she was so impressed with how proactive and flexible we were as a service in supporting young people in Cornwall during the extended lock down. Of particular note were the additional welfare calls that we undertook including our offer to schools and FE providers, EHE students and also our follow up of those with an ID of apprenticeship. In Cornwall we also undertook weekly follow up of SEND NEETs and in a lot of cases these young people, and their parents, were grateful to have someone to talk to.
