Caitlin is an aspiring young writer who has been part of the COMPASS project with Real Ideas Organisation, also receiving specialist support from Creative Kernow and her artist mentor. She has been writing from a young age, recognising early on that it was something she was naturally drawn to and good at. She has overcome barriers through being part of the COMPASS project and receiving 1:1 mentoring support from Writer and Broadcaster, Rebecca Gregson. Through COMPASS and with additional support from RIO, she has been building a website with Webahead, which will host her portfolio of writing. Having a platform to share her work is a significant step in her creative journey that will help her to get her work out there.
