X had struggled with social anxiety on and off for years, she has a degree in environmental science, but felt her anxiety was a real barrier to employment.  She found the support she needed on the COMPASS project with Motiv-8SW.

After only a few sessions X’s confidence started to grow and with encouragement she attended their 5-day Lift Off group session event where participants learn key working skills such as CV building and interview techniques within a group environment, in addition to techniques to help manage her anxiety.

X has now started working for Cornwall Council and Land Registry as a data entry expert, working from home; so is now able to put her degree to good use. X’s progression is such a short space of time is nothing short of incredible and we are extremely proud of her.  The 1st step in her career journey where she can grow in confidence.
